The year.

This year has been a great year. My favorite thing that I did this year was everything. It has been a blast everything that we have done this year has been amazing and it is sad that I will not be in this class anymore but all I can say is that I have had a great time in room 9.

Polly and the Witch.

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Polly who lived near by a sparkling clear lake. Polly had long blond straight hair. She always has it tied up. Her passion was walking. Everyday she would walk to the lake to get some fresh water for her family. Polly lived with her Mother Father and her younger brother. She thought her brother was really anoying because he never understood her. One day she started walking to the lake. Every time when she got to the lake she always feared that someone was watching her. When she leant down to get some water she heard a laugh, an evil laugh it was a Witch then suddenly everything went black. When she woke up, she was in a cage in the deep dark woods. Polly screamed and all the towns people heard her scream and rushed to the woods but the Witch was not called Witch for nothing so she zapped the towns people into a cage as well. Soon it got dark andPolly's family was getting worried, so they set off out to the lake. They did not find Polly at the lake so they guessed that she had wondered off into the woods. When they had been walking in the woods for about half an hour they were surprised to see everyone  locked in a cage including Polly they quickly freed everone, and punished the Witch, Polly got the water and everyone went home.

Kapa haka

On Tuesday night I had my kapa haka performance. We got to wear really cool costumes. I thought performing in front of a whole lot of people was an amazing experience. I had a really cool time.

The button box production.

For production we did heaps and heaps of practice. Our production is about the Button box.We did our proformance on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. My mum and dad came on Thursday they really enjoyed it. Our classes song was the FrogKing I was a red dancer. I got to wear a really cool hat and top that Jago's mum made. My favorite part was when it was our turn and every one was watching us Ithought it was really cool I really liked it.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This term we have been looking at persuasive writing. 

We looked at the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We talked about whether she should have gone into the house or not. Here is my poster. 

Our flower art.

on Tuesday the 21st of June we started drawing some flowers in a vas because our topic is on plants and flowers. we call it green fingers. I drew some purple flowers in a blue vase. we were learning how to blend . after school Mum came into my class so I could show her my art work she loved it.

My Netball game.

On Saturday I hade my Netball game. I got to play C in the first half and GA in the second half. Before the game we did alot of warm up's we played a half game I got to do the toss up but instead of a toss up I had to choose what hand the wistle was in I chose the right one the game started and I got to start with the ball we shot about 5 goals in the first half then before the game started again we did some more warm up's in the second half we scored 2 goals the game finished we shook hands with the other team  then Lisa our coatch anoust the player of the day and it was me player of the day get's a trophy for the week and has to bring lollies and oranges next week.

Flower hunt around the feild.

Yesterday arfternoon room9 went on a flower hunt because we needed some flowers for our topic. We found alot of different flowers there was all different shapes and sizes.Then we went back to the class room. We drew a picture of a flower I drew a pretty rose. Then we labeled the different parts of the flower. It was really fun.

Last night we hade an art exhibition at Clink to show our fruit art work. It was called 'Fruit for Thought.' My Grandma was there as well as my mum and dad. For dinner we got fish and chips they were really yummy. My mum, dad and grandma were really amazed at my work. I think the art work looked really cool.
